TATOC, the Timeshare Association, has announced that silver affiliate and shared ownership showcase LiveShareTravel will be the association’s media partner for the TATOC 2012 Conference.
LiveShareTravel (www.livesharetravel.com) will be reporting all the news and information before, during and after the conference.
The LiveShareTravel website is viewed over 154,000 times a month with the site’s content viewed by a further 657,000 people a month through social media. LiveShareTravel has 3,230 Twitter fans and 1,377 Facebook fans.
During the conference the LiveShareTravel team will be doing video interviews and social media updates bringing all the news from conference (follow the conference on #TATOC2012).

Speakers include Professor Buhalis, of Bournemouth University who will make the conference’s keynote address. He will focus on the challenges brought by the eTourism revolution and how the Internet has emerged as a pervasive and robust platform for tourism destination distribution and management.
TATOC executive chairman Harry Taylor and board member Geoff Chapman, will examine how the association, resorts and the wider industry are Meeting the Challenges; Simon Jackson, chief executive of Macdonald Resorts will discuss the importance of a comprehensive exit strategy. While Diamond Resorts International’s Suzana Gomercic will consider the challenges facing resort management in Europe and Susan Crook will examine the impact of the E.U. Timeshare Directive one year on.
Lisa Ann Schreier, The Timeshare Crusader will provide an update on what is happening in the U.S. from Lisa Ann Schreier, The Timeshare Crusader.
There will also be a question and answer session discussing the key challenges facing the timeshare industry today with a panel of industry experts including Phil Watson (Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket), Dimitris Manikis (RCI Europe), Linda Freer (Resort Solutions), Susan Gomercic (Diamond Resorts International), Robin Mills (Aroma), Simon Jackson (Macdonald Resorts) and Paul Mattimoe (Perspective International).
